July 28, 2026 — Championship leader Evagoras Papasavvas is set to return to the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) grid this weekend, taking on New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) with Crosslink Motorsports for Rounds 12, 13, and 14 of the 2026 season. Located in Millville, New Jersey, the 2.25-mile, 12-turn road course is the next challenge for the young driver as he looks to continue his climb up the motorsports ladder.
With the championship battle entering a critical stretch, Papasavvas arrives at NJMP's Thunderbolt Course sitting atop the point standings. The three-race weekend presents another opportunity for the Crosslink Motorsports driver to build on his season-long consistency and strengthen his position at the front of the title fight.
Papasavvas will look to carry the momentum from his championship-leading campaign into the weekend as he and Crosslink Motorsports continue their pursuit of the FR Americas title.
“I’m confident we have the tools and skills to deliver in New Jersey,” commented Papasavvas. “We’ve continued to work hard throughout the season, and our focus is on maximizing every session and scoring as many points as possible. As always, three races in one weekend means that consistency will be key. We’ll take the weekend one session at a time and do everything we can to come away with a strong result.”
The weekend in New Jersey will begin with a full day of testing on Friday, giving Papasavvas and Crosslink Motorsports the opportunity to prepare for the three-race format and fine-tune their setup ahead of competition.
Qualifying and Race 1 will take place on Saturday, with Races 2 and 3 set to follow on Sunday. With three races and a maximum of 75 championship points available, every session will play an important role in the championship battle.
