March 5, 2026 – Crosslink Motorsports is proud to announce that Kekai Hauanio will return to the team for the 2026 season, stepping up to compete in the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas).
Hauanio advances to Formula Regional competition following a standout 2025 campaign in the Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), where he secured multiple race victories and finished third in the overall championship standings. His strong performance and continued development made the move to FR Americas a natural progression within the Crosslink Motorsports program.
The jump to Formula Regional machinery marks a significant step forward, bringing increased power, aerodynamic grip, and competition at an even higher level. Hauanio will make his FR Americas debut at NOLA Motorsports Park April 9-12. Prior to the season opener, he will participate in an official test at the same circuit in late March to prepare for the new challenge. Hauanio has also taken part in an extensive test program this offseason to prepare himself.
“We are very excited to have Kekai back with us for 2026,” said Gill Kaszuba, Team Owner of Crosslink Motorsports. “He proved last year that he has the talent, discipline, and racecraft to compete at the front. Finishing third in F4 U.S. with multiple wins was a huge accomplishment, and we believe he is more than ready for this next step into FR Americas. Our goal is to continue building on that momentum and put him in a position to fight for strong results right away.”
Hauanio is equally eager to begin the next chapter of his career.
“I am incredibly grateful to return with Crosslink Motorsports and take this next step in FR Americas,” said Hauanio. “Last season gave me a lot of confidence, and I am ready to challenge myself in a faster car against tough competition. Testing at NOLA will be important for learning the car, and I am looking forward to making my debut there in April.”
With continuity between driver and team, along with momentum from a successful 2025 season, Crosslink Motorsports and Hauanio are poised for an exciting 2026 campaign as they take on the FR Americas Championship together.
