Kiwi Motorsport Heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for FR Americas and F4 U.S. Championship

August 26, 2025 – Kiwi Motorsport is set for an international challenge this weekend as Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) and Formula 4 United States Championship travel to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), the only race of the 2025 season held outside of the United States. The Texas-based team will campaign seven drivers across the two open-wheel championships as the battle for championship titles intensifies.

In FR Americas, Kiwi Motorsport will field a four-car lineup with Bruno Ribeiro, Nicolas Ambiado, Jett Bowling, and Kevin Janzen. Ribeiro enters the Canadian round as the current championship leader with Ambiado in second place and Bowling tied for P3 in the championship, giving the team three drivers inside the top-three of the current championship standings.

In F4 competition, Kiwi will run Cooper Shipman and Clemente Huerta, and newcomer Oliver Savoie. Shipman currently leads the driver championship while Huerta holds fourth place, adding another pair of strong contenders for the team. Savoie, a Canadian from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, will join the team in a home country event as he adds depth to the Kiwi Motorsport driver lineup.

“Oliver’s dad and I raced against one another 20 years ago at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, formerly Mosport, in formula cars,” explained Teena Larsen. “It is great to welcome Oliver to the team, and we look forward to seeing what he can do in a Kiwi Motorsport entry.”

The Ligier JFC class will not participate this weekend but will rejoin the Kiwi Motorsport effort at VIRginia International Raceway in September.

“Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is one of the fastest and most demanding circuits on the calendar, and it is always a special event as the only international stop of the season. It also gives our drivers the full effects of the downforce of the FR machinery,” explained Teena Larsen, Team Owner of Kiwi Motorsport. “We are proud to have championship leaders in both FR Americas and F4 U.S., and our drivers have been working hard to stay consistent and strong. This weekend will be an important step toward finishing the season the way we want.”

The race weekend begins Thursday with testing before practice and qualifying on Friday, which also includes the opening FR Americas race. Saturday will feature two races for F4 U.S., along with the second FR Americas contest. Both series will conclude the weekend on Sunday with one final race each. Fans can watch all the action live on the SpeedTour TV YouTube page.
