Crosslink Motorsports Wraps Up Resilient Weekend at Indianapolis and Look for Redemption at Mid-Ohio

June 19, 2025 – Crosslink Motorsports battled unpredictable weather and fierce competition this past weekend at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), where the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) saw a condensed schedule of only two races. Following the cancellation of the weekend’s opening contest due to inclement weather, a pair of races were held Sunday, with Saturday’s first wheel-to-wheel action moved to an upcoming event weekend.

In qualifying, Titus Sherlock led the Crosslink effort with an impressive fourth-place starting position, followed by Alex Benavitz in eighth, Barrett Wolfe in tenth, and Hayden Bowlsbey lining up 12th.

While Race 1 was officially rained out, the revised weekend got underway with a two-race format. In the first race of the weekend, Alex Benavitz delivered the top result for the team with a solid fifth-place finish, followed closely by Hayden Bowlsbey in sixth. Unfortunately, both Sherlock and Wolfe were sidelined early due to contact, but came back looking to rebound in Race 2.

Race 2 saw Sherlock mount an impressive comeback to finish just off the podium in fourth, with Benavitz and Bowlsbey securing ninth and 11th, respectively. Wolfe, despite showing early pace, once again had his race cut short due to an on-track incident.

“It wasn’t the weekend we planned, but it was a great show of grit from our entire lineup,” explained Team Owner Gill Kaszuba. “The weather threw a curveball, but our drivers showed resilience and speed all weekend. We’re proud of the team’s effort, and we’re eager to bounce back strong at Mid-Ohio.”

The Crosslink Motorsports crew now shifts its focus to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, where it will be joined again by its Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) and Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) teammates. The upcoming weekend will include an added race for the FR Americas to make up for the canceled round at IMS.
