June 10, 2025 – This weekend, Kiwi Motorsport travels to the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) for the next round of the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas). Unlike any other event this season, the IMS round will exclusively feature FR Americas, giving Kiwi Motorsport and their talented lineup full focus on the famed Brickyard.
Kiwi Motorsport will field a five-driver lineup, including title contenders Nicolas Ambiado and Bruno Ribeiro, who currently sit second and third in the overall championship standings. Jett Bowling and Nicolas Stati are also returning under the Kiwi Motorsport banner, both of whom are firmly placed inside the top-ten in points and have shown steady performance throughout the season. Veteran Masters class competitor Kevin Janzen will once again represent the team on the historic road course, bringing experience and consistency to the weekend.
“We’re heading into a special weekend at one of the most historic venues in motorsports, and I couldn’t be more excited about the lineup we’re bringing,” explained Teena Larsen of Kiwi Motorsport. “With Ambiado and Ribeiro in the hunt for the championship, and our full roster showing real pace and progress, we’re in a great place to keep pushing forward. Having the spotlight on FR Americas only gives us a unique chance to showcase what this team is made of.”
“This is a fast and flowing track with a few technically demanding sections that can catch drivers off guard if they're not precise,” added Garry Orton. “Fortunately, we have a strong lineup of talented and well-prepared drivers who have shown they can adapt quickly, handle pressure, and capitalize on every opportunity that comes their way.”
The weekend will kick off with testing on Thursday, followed by practice and qualifying on Friday. The first race will go green on Saturday, with Races 2 and 3 closing out the weekend on Sunday, June 15. Fans can follow all the action live on the SpeedTour TV YouTube channel, with full coverage of qualifying and all races. More race information can be found here.
