AUSTIN, Texas (October 31, 2024) – Contending for second in the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) standings, Jett Bowling was quickest in practice at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on Thursday afternoon. Entering the season finale ranked third in the standings, Bowling (No. 02 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) is just 10.5 points out of second and holds a 13-point advantage over fellow Texan, Titus Sherlock (No. 31 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3), who is ranked fourth.
In today’s practice, Bowling was the only driver to break into the 2:03s, recording a lap time of 2:03.836, and beating Sherlock by 0.390 seconds. A trio of series newcomers rounded out the top five, with Bruno Ribeiro (No. 3 IGY6 Motorsports / Save22 Ligier JS F3) in third for IGY6 Motorsports, and Toney Driver Development teammates Brady Golan (No. 80 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS F3) and Hailie Deegan (No. 38 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS F3), ranking fourth and fifth. This is Deegan’s first open-wheel race as she prepares to compete in INDY NXT during the 2025 season.
