Ryan Shehan, Nicolas Ambiado Top Practice Charts at Mid-Ohio

LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 21, 2024) – With two practice sessions for Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Friday, Ryan Shehan and Nicolas Ambiado each took a turn at the top of the leaderboard. 

In first practice, Ryan Shehan (No. 66 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) led the way, recording a fast time of 1:19.135 to hold off his teammate Titus Sherlock (No. 31 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) by just 0.011 seconds. Just behind them was championship rival Patrick Woods-Toth (No. 27 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3), who rounded out the top three with a 1:19.236 lap.

Nicolas Ambiado (No. 55 TLink / Allegro Ligier JS F3) paced the second practice with a 1:19.982 lap, followed by Shehan, just 0.059-seconds behind. In third, Sherlock recorded a 1:20.405 during the session.

FR Americas will qualify and race on Saturday, with qualifying scheduled for 11:20 a.m. ET, and Race 1 to follow at 6:15 p.m. ET.
