Everett Stack Shines in F3 Race Debut at Virginia
Everett Stack Scores Three Seventh-Place Finishes in Formula Regional Americas Debut

October 12, 2023 - Everett Stack continued his impressive young driver development program in his rookie race season where this past weekend he graduated to compete in the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) for the penultimate round of the 2023 season at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR).

Driving his Red Hat sponsored Ligier F3 car, 16-year-old Stack finished seventh in all three races. He was running as high as fifth in the weekend's final race before a late-race caution.

Stack is now 13th in the FR Americas Championship standings. With another strong weekend at the 2023 season finale at the Austin F1 circuit, Stack can move into the Top 10 in the championship standings to earn his first FIA Super License points.

JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "We have Everett on a similar driver development program as we did with our driver Oliver Westling during the 2022 race season. Both young drivers had no previous experience with either karting or race cars, so after some extensive winter testing, we entered them in the F4 U.S. Championship with a summer testing program driving our much faster FR Americas Ligier F3 race cars."

Jensen continued, "As it became clear that both Oliver and Everett were performing well driving the F3 cars, we made the decision to graduate both young drivers to finish their rookie seasons racing in FR Americas in order to get a head start on their sophomore seasons racing in the higher category."

The young driver development strategy worked well for Westling, who scored an impressive fifth-place finish in his debut FR Americas race weekend at VIR in 2022. Westling then scored his first podium result in the 2022 season finale with an impressive second-place finish at the Austin F1 circuit.

After some additional F3 testing at the Homestead-Miami Speedway road course later this month, Stack will race in the 2023 FR Americas season finale at Circuit of The Americas. He will then continue his extensive development program preparing to take his shot at challenging for a championship in the 2024 season.
