After Eight Weeks, Dylan Tavella Returns to the FR Americas Championship Chase
September 30, 2022 It was a winning weekend for Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport driver Dylan Tavella at New Jersey Motorsports Park more than eight weeks ago, and he is looking to do the same next weekend at the VIRginia International Raceway (VIR). Entering the second to last round second in the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda point standings, Tavella is focused on winning!

Dylan Tavella enters the penultimate event weekend of the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda currently sitting second overall and is coming off four podium finishes in the past four races including a double victory at New Jersey Motorsports Park to close the gap to the point leader. With momentum on his side, the New Yorker now living in Texas is hungry for more.

“We had a great event at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in what seems like forever ago, and I need to continue that momentum next weekend at VIR,” explained Tavella. “The championship still has six races left and that means that there is a maximum of 150 points available, and my intention is to get them all and show that I am ready to move to the next level.”

Tavella added, “A huge thank you to my partners, my family, and of course Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport for making the season to date a success.”

Set to hit the 3.27-mile, 17-turn track next week Thursday for testing, official practice and qualifying will take place Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be the home to three wheel-to-wheel races and a maximum total of 75 points that could be earned towards the end of the year championship point battle.
