Raoul Hyman Secures the Pole at New Jersey Motorsports Park

MILLVILLE, N.J. (July 30, 2022) – After placing third in the sole practice session for Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda (FR Americas) yesterday, Raoul Hyman rallied to secure the pole position for Race 1 at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP). Driving the No. 27 Bethesda Holdings Limited / Solomon Capital Enterprises / Oaklands / Kinross Ligier JS F3, Hyman recorded a 1:17.845 lap time to best the competition by 0.223-seconds.

Ryan Yardley finished second in the No. 78 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsports Ligier JS F3. The New Zealander has been consistent all weekend, also placing second in yesterday’s practice session. Third on the speed chart was Dylan Tavella in the No. 14 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsports Ligier JS F3. Tavella grew up just 160-miles from NJMP and raced on the facility's go-kart track during the early stages of his career. Fourth was Cooper Becklin (No. 91 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) and fifth was Jason Alder (No. 77 Drive for Diabetes Awareness / HAKUN / TJ Speed Motorsports Ligier JS F3).
