Dylan Tavella Looks to Add to Podium Total at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
June 22, 2022 – Heading to rounds seven, eight, and nine of the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda, sophomore driver Dylan Tavella is looking to make his move to the championship lead. Currently twenty-three markers behind the championship point leader, Tavella brings five podium finishes and six point scoring results into the Lexington, Ohio facility.

“I really enjoy racing at Mid-Ohio, and I think this could be a weekend where we leave the event with three race wins and the championship point lead,” expressed Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport standout Dylan Tavella. “We have been consistent all season long but now it is time to get aggressive and take what I want so badly.”

With a victory during round three at the NOLA Motorsports Park and second, third and fourth place finishes at his most recent event at Road America, the Mechanical Engineering student is looking to get back to his winning ways.

Tavella added, “The goal is simple. Win. The series is so competitive that every single point will count but the only way to get ahead is to go on a winning streak, and there is no better track to start that streak at than this weekend at Mid-Ohio.”

Tavella and his #14 Rowdy Energy drink backed Crosslink Kiwi Motorsports Ligier JSF3 will hit the track Thursday for a Promoters Test Day before official practice and qualifying on Friday. The first wheel-to-wheel action will take place on Saturday before races two and three on the weekend take the green flag on Sunday.
