May 18, 2022 – With his sights set on the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda and accompanying Honda Scholarship program, Dylan Tavella is set to travel to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and the famed Road America. Tied for the lead in the series championship points battle, Tavella will look to carry the momentum from a triple podium opening weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park.
“I am ready,” exclaimed Tavella. “NOLA was a great start to the season for the first three rounds, but the long term goals are the series championship and that is what is on my mind. It may be too early to start thinking about points, so now I am just focused on winning races and standing on the podium every time possible.”
Competing out of the massive Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport program, Tavella steadily improved his results through the opening event a few weeks ago. Scoring a third place result in race one, race two saw Tavella climb to the second step of the podium before he went on to claim the checkered flag and victory in race three.
Tavella added, “I think it took a little bit to get our wheels under us during the first event, but closing the weekend with a win was a solid step in the right direction. Now, the goal is to maintain and keep the pressure on my competition.”
