Dylan Tavella Aims for 2022 FR Americas Championship and Honda Scholarship
April 5, 2022 A race winner in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda in 2020 and continuing that race winning trend in 2021 in the FR Americas side of the program, Dylan Tavella has his goals set for 2022. Setting his sights on the Honda Scholarship and the FR America Powered by Honda championship, Tavella will join the potent Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport program and enters the season as one of the championship favorites.

“Ever since the final checkered flag last season, I have been working to make sure that I am 100% ready to be a contender for this year’s title,” explained Dylan Tavella. “I spend countless hours in the gym, I eat my meals while on the simulator, there is nothing I want more than to be crowned champion at the end of the season and continue my career as a Honda branded driver.”

Along with joining Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport and claiming his intentions to win the 2022 championship at all costs, Tavella has also renewed his deal with Rowdy Energy Drink as they return as the primary partner on his #14 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport prepared Ligier JSF3.

Tavella continued, “I am so thankful to have Rowdy Energy Drink back as a partner in 2022. They were huge in support as I learned the FR program in my rookie season last year. I can’t wait to take them, and all my partners, back to the top step of the podium in 2022!”

On the partnership side, Dylan Tavella and his management team are working hard to solidify funds to complete the full season. Not coming from family money, Tavella needs to push his contacts and find the support needed to run the entire program.

“The theory is easy. If I go out there and win and be a good brand ambassador for my current partners, new partners will come, and I am compelety confident in my abilities to fight for the checkered flag in each race,” added Tavella. “But this is an open call to anyone who wants to support my 2022 season; I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.”

With several test days already in the books, Tavella has a few more on the horizon before he begins his quest for the 2022 season. With the first green flag taking place at NOLA Motorsports Park over the April 8-10 weekend, Tavella will also see action at the famed Road America, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Virginia International Raceway and the prestigious Circuit of the Americas.
