Josh Car Returns to Team Crosslink for 2021 FR Americas Season

2019 F4 Champ set for sophomore season in FR Americas

Graduating with Team Crosslink from the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda to the FR Americas Championship in 2020 courtesy of his title winning performance, Australian Josh Car is set to return to the potent team for his sophomore season. With a year’s more experience and a better understanding of the Ligier JSF3, Car has his sights firmly set on the 2021 championship.

“We would like to formally welcome Josh back to the Team Crosslink as he is undoubtedly one of the leaders in our program,” explained Team Manager Sean Owens. “Not only is Josh a racer and a winner, he is also a valuable asset to our karting program and a great mentor for both our F4 and Team Crosslink kart racers. While 2020 was a learning year, the goal of winning has been set for 2021.”

On the strength of three podium results and a sixth-place finish in the 2020 points standings, Car returns to the program that he has called home for the past two seasons.

“To be back with my Crosslink family was the number one goal this offseason,” added Josh Car. “I feel 2020 was a bit of an uncomplete season and I have some unfinished business to tend too. A huge thank you to Patrick, Sean and all the guys that push Crosslink to the next level, and I can’t wait to get back to America and get the season started.”

With the season set to kick off near the end of March at the famed Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Car will look to take advantage of test opportunities over the next few months to prepare himself for a 2021 championship run.
