The FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda qualifying session scheduled to take place at 11:30 a.m. ET on Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway was canceled by series officials for reason of safety. Heavy rains initially put the session on hold, and lightening spotted in the area determined the final cancelation. The grid for Race 1 will be drawn up based on FR Americas Championship driver points.
Linus Lundqvist will start on pole with David Malukas sharing the front row. (Check out full standings here)
As of right now the timetable is still on schedule and FR Americas will take the green at 2:50pm ET, pending weather.
