Danial Frost and Andretti Autosport Have Strong Outing at Barber

RACE 1.

Entering the third weekend of FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda, Danial Frost returned behind the wheel of his No. 68 DEN-JET Honda for the tripleheader event at Barber Motorsports Park. After a challenging first qualifying session around the 17-turn road course, Frost earned the 10th spot on the grid for Race 1 and made up one position to finish the race in ninth.

RACE 2.

Sitting fifth on the starting grid, Frost was eager to tackle the terrain of Barber Motorsports Park for Race 2. Once the green flag flew for the 35-minute race, Frost had his hands and mirrors full as he battled for position against Jacob Abel before ultimately finishing in seventh.

RACE 3.

For the third race of the weekend's tripleheader, Frost started fifth on the grid with his eyes set on capturing his first FR Americas podium. For the majority of the race, Frost found himself once again in a battle alongside Jacob Abel. Frost was able to hold on to the fifth place position, marking his third top-five finish of the 2020 season thus far.

"We started the weekend with decent pace but it seemed that disappeared in qualifying so the 68 team and I had to work hard to try and be fast again," said Frost. "During the race a small mistake on my side in the early stage of the races, but in the final race we had it sorted finishing fifth and having the third fastest lap. Thank you to Andretti Autosport for their effort this weekend. We look forward to the next round."
