Linus Lundqvist drove lights to checkers in the opening Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda round at Virginia International Raceway. The win marked the Global Racing Group rookie's third consecutive win in the championship.
"That was quite a tough race," Lundqvist said. "Super happy to be able to win this race. Global Racing Group gave me a great car and I just did my part to get it to the winners circle."
Crosslink Competition rookie Joshua car charged from a fifth place start to finish in second with Newman Wachs Racing driver Jordan Missng claiming his first podium finish in third.
Victor Franzoni (Newman Wachs Racing) and David Malukas (HMD Motorsports) rounded out the top five.
