Global Racing Group rookie Linus Lundqvist swept the opening Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the Vintage Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio event. Starting on pole, Lundqvist went lights to checkers, finishing the 30-minute race with a nearly a second and a half lead over second-place finisher HMD Motorsports David Malukas. Malukas' teammate Santiago Urrutia claimed the last step on the podium in third.
