Driver of the #66 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport heads west for racing and business
May 2, 2024 – Fresh from the test at Thunderhill Raceway Park April 22nd through the 25th, Ryan Shehan and the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport team head down the West Coast to race in the Laguna Seca FR Invitational that is part of the 2024 Mission Foods Laguna Seca SpeedTour.
Shehan, who had a phenomenal start to the FR Americas season at NOLA Motorsports Park, sees this as an opportunity to race on one of the most iconic tracks in the world of auto racing.
“I’m looking forward to this weekend with the team,” explains Shehan. “Without the pressure of gaining points, it will be a great opportunity for the team and I to fine tune the car into what we want it to be for the rest of the season. Laguna Seca is a challenging course, so it’ll also provide some valuable wheel to wheel racing as I move towards a potential seat in INDYCAR or F1.”
Laguna Seca is a bucket-list track that will have a large paddock full of teams, racers, and their sponsors, making it a go to for doing B2B business as well.
Shehan adds, “We and our partners/sponsors have an incredible opportunity this year with three bucket-list events at Laguna Seca, Indianapolis, and COTA (Austin, Texas).
